    Replace the cap anyway. May have worked air out. Make sure you top off the overflow tank (HOAT only) or you may suck more air in as the coolant in the system contracts as it cools.

    I'm assuming the rad was filled when you removed the cap? Fill overflow tank. replace cap with new one. See if that helps. May have pulled in air or next, maybe thermostat stuck.

    Hmmm. Makes you wonder. I'd say have a look at what they did or take it somewhere else if you aren't comfortable doing that stuff yourself. I'm not very fluent in KKs but I don't recall hearing about ABS units/pumps failing. Seems like they didn't lube the pins right or used old dirty ones...

    Welcome! When was the last time the brakes were replaced or serviced? I'd check the simple stuff first. Maybe the slide pins just froze up when they heated up with the stop and go traffic. might just need some lube. Maybe opening the bleeder will free them up if it's a fluid issue. Try a brake...

    Like you said the mounting points for the 42RLE external cooler are important. That's a good price for the Mopar. Mine was for an 02 with the 45RFE so I needed the internal cooler and had no external one. Even if the MOPAR rad has the internal taps it's okay since you can just leave them plugged...

    If you do run your own brake lines, I'd highly recommend the copper nickel mix. Way easier to bend and flare than the steel ones.

    I think it's like a plumbing fitting (tapered). I'd just go snug and leave it. It isn't going to come out.

    You've replaced the battery and it still won't latch? I did something similar when I was swapping in a new battery. Mine would not latch when I disconnected the battery but worked fine once I put in a new battery.
