    I like my OME’s, but you’ll be fine either way. I’ve heard it said that OME might be a bit better offroad and Bilstien a bit better on pavement, but I probably couldn’t tell the difference. Your ride will be much smoother.

    Height should be 19” from center of hub to underside of fender flare. Anything less and you need new springs and shocks.

    Really. I buy three lengths of bolt now, just in case.

    That sounds strange. I put an engine skid plate on mine and there’s no bolts near the control arms. The front bolts are inside the two round holes at the front of the plate.

    For shocks, either Old Man Emu or Bilstein. I don’t think you want to go much higher than two inches for the sake of the CV’s, no one is making four inch lift kits anymore. Search the forums for threads on lifts, a former moderator named Tom Mudd has discussed this geometry issue in detail...
