Replacing 20028 TPMS Sensors with 29227
It plugs into the OBD2 port but it can trigger and read the sensors as a stand alone unit. Honestly, I'm not sure if it clones or not. I need to play with it some more to figure out everything it can do. Something else I just noticed, the new sensor is noticeably lighter... I'm interested to...- JeepJeepster

I imagine very few Liberty's still have a working TPMS, but I thought I would post this for those that many need it. Many years ago, I replaced the factory sensors with the 20028 Schrader TPMS sensors and all was well. Had no issues training them with the magnet and they lasted many years...- JeepJeepster

Confused by part description.
Dorman 946386 is the rear driveshaft and has a u joint at each end. Swapping out ujoints is awfully easy unless they are really rusted in there.- JeepJeepster

Engine Coolant Questions
I've always used zerex G05. Its a pale yellow (color doesnt matter, FYI) and Ive never had any issues. Its readily available pretty much anywhere but I normally buy concentrate from Napa when its on sale. I mix 50/50 with distilled water. Front hub with ABS on non-ABS Libby
My parents 2006 Jeep WK is the same. Thing has limited slip diff's front and rear but the TC will kick in and the Jeep slides back to the bottom of the hill. My KJ has no issues in a foot (most we've had) of snow on their driveway. I've not tried removing the abs fuse but pushing the esp off...- JeepJeepster

06 Libby 3.7 AC compressor cycles at all times
My 2004 only turns the A/C on in the two defrost modes. The 2005 will also turn the A/C on in the floor only mode. You can take part the controls and put tape over the contacts so it only turns the A/C on in the modes you chose to not put tape over. I bought some 2005 controls so I could control...- JeepJeepster

No it wasn't. ABS was an option on the KJ and there are far more without ABS than with. I've always liked the KJ since it doesn't have ABS/TC/whatever crap.- JeepJeepster

03 KJ Overheating after 30 minutes of driving. (Fixed)
226F is a bit high for the fan to kick on. Before I added the HD fan, my electric fan always kicked on at 217F. Ive never seen my engine above 217F, Ive never seen it above 204F with the HD cooling. Ive got to wonder if the fan has lost its low speed.- JeepJeepster

Yeah, the CRD's are different than the 3.7. I could be completely wrong, but I thought all CRD's in the states (I see youre in the UK) got the electric fan AND mechanical fan.- JeepJeepster

Front Drive Axle
Ive heard its harder depending on the year. I guess they changed the routing of the exhaust? Maybe its if you have a 45rfe? Either way, I was able to push the driveshift up and above the tcase then drop the front of the shaft out.- JeepJeepster

Those little boots degrade/crack and let the grease out. I replaced the boot before the grease was compromised. No issues with the joint itself in 140kmiles.- JeepJeepster

Bent rear upper control arm
Those arms are thin stamped steel, so I wouldn't be surprised if they bent it a bit when trying to press out/in the bushings on the ends or the ball joint. I replaced mine with the iron rock offroad control arm that has no rubber bushings. It does transmit a bit more noise, but I was glad to...- JeepJeepster

The wiring is there and it works perfect. I looked through all of the sales brochures I have and also looked at websites that list options just like Jeep did back in 2004. No where does it show a dimming side mirror, I tried all years and packages through 2007. So strange.- JeepJeepster

Found one on ebay and got it in yesterday (Two actually). Going to check to see if my 04 already has the wiring tomorrow. Blows my mind I didnt know about this. I would've bought one many, many years ago. I hate blinding headlights from idiots that ride beside of me on the interstate.- JeepJeepster

What are people using for brighter headlights?
Ive had these in my KJ for many years, probably around 10. Also have them in one of my ZJ's, Im happy with them. I wonder if adding a headlight harness would help. The KJ uses relays for the headlights unlike my ZJ's that run the current inside through the headlight switch, but Im sure the KJ...- JeepJeepster
