    The fake rails are held on by 3M tape. You can carefully peel them off. There are studs for the real roof rack hidden under them.     Rebuilding my Adjust a Struts

    I found 80 foot pounds for that in the KK Mopar repair manual. I just recently redid my front lift so had the list of torque specs right on my phone. It would be cool is Digger and Scar0 were still on, but I haven’t seen them in quite a while.

    If anyone can find the factory parts manual for any year KJ, you could get the part number from that. If not, my next move would be to take an existing bolt to the home store and find their thread gauge in the fasteners aisle. This will help you match it.

    It might be worth giving them a call. The control arms (upper and lower) look adjustable so if you can put them at the right length for a stock Jeep you could be good. I have only heard good things about IRO over the years, even from Tommudd and that is saying something! ;)

    The mm and cm reference to the distance from the bottom of the pan to the level of the fluid. The KK didn’t come with a dipstick so I have used my oil dipstick and a ruler.

    What gears are you running in your solid axles? Gearing lower could provide the power you want without changing any of the drivetrain. Turning 40” tires is going to rob the power without lower gears.

    You’re welcome! I got the temperature gun to measure my trailer’s wheel bearings but it has come in handy in ways like this. Pretty inexpensive too.

    This is for the KK but should be similar for you if you have the 42RLE. If you hit the transmission pan with a temperature gun, you can calculate what the level should be. There is some wiggle room around the line where you can still be fine.
