This happed on my Commander. It turned out that there was corrosion on the spade connector that tells the starter when to start. Check that, clean it off, and reattach… hopefully that fixes it! Lift faq: Read before asking questions!
In 2011 I lifted using a 4” JBA adjust a strut kit, but that isn’t made anymore. This year I needed to refresh it so went with OME springs and Bilstein 5100 shocks. With ATH 1/4” top plates, I have about 3” of lift in the front and I still have 3.5” in the rear even with the 2011 JBA springs.- lfhoward

That’s interesting. I’ve never had any problems with my CV joints in the last 172,000 miles (the length of time I’ve had the lift). My CV’s are OEM and original. Perhaps yours are aftermarket? Left Turn Signal - I'm Stumped
This happened to my 08 last year. Using my multimeter I was able to check continuity between the turn signal ground and the battery. There was none. I found the ground wire connection to the body behind the headlight area and it was fine— the wires can rust off at the ground connection sometimes...- lfhoward

KK reliability?
I never owned a KJ, but I am satisfied with the reliability of my KK. It's an 08 with 232,000 miles on it, so reliability at this stage is about maintenance and replacing stuff that breaks. Can I run these on stock ride height
That is a 29.5 inch tall tire, whereas the stock ones are 29”. I think you can get away with it as long as your tires have more than 1/4” clearance when turning and articulating up and down. If your original springs have sagged a lot, consider new springs and shocks with those tires. The wheels...- lfhoward

I finally collected all the pieces for a revamp of the rear springs and shock mounting. The rear shocks are new Bilstein 5100's and the springs are old 4" JBA lift springs, but the old springs still do well. (They are no longer JBA red though.)
