3.7L liberty not starting after fixing PS fluid leak

No codes? Have you checked fuel pressure when it wont start? Does it have spark when it wont start?

Have you changed the oil lately? If so, how did it look? Any metal in it?

    Rear Pinion Bearings

The side adjusters have pro's and con's. The only con I can think of is your situation. Its so nice being able to use those side adjusters when replacing bearings or gears since you can just change the backlash with a turn of the side adjusters. It makes your situation more work though. I...

    2007 AC needs replaced

Its tough to tell you what I think you should replace. Since it only has 80k miles, I would personally leave the factory compressor unless I had a reason to think it was leaking or had an issue. I think I would start with just replacing the accumulator and the pressure hose. Flush the system...

    Rear Pinion Bearings

If you dont want to use a press, I've used what 24turbo posted. You'll need to cut the cage off of the bearing and use that puller to pull the inner race off. It kinda *****. I've since bought a bearing puller and it sure makes things a breeze. You can hammer on the new bearings. I would want a...

    2007 AC needs replaced

I've only completely replaced the A/C system on 1 Jeep and I used Four Seasons. Its working good so far. Ordered it from Summit racing and had a heck of a time getting the parts undamaged. They direct shipped the parts from Four Seasons, so it wasn't their fault at all, and they did everything...

Has anyone experienced balance shaft seizure in the 3.7?

I've never read about a balance shaft issue on a 3.7.

    Power steering issue

There is really only a pump, some hoses, and a steering rack. Either the 2 new pumps are both bad out of the box of something is up with the steering rack. Did you continue to drive it after the pump emptied itself of oil? Is the power steering working now? Oil look clean?

    Bi-directional scanner recommendations

Nope. I use it all the time on Jeeps from 96-08. I did make sure to update everything before the subscription ran out.

    Bi-directional scanner recommendations

Nope. We only have one 2018 Chrysler vehicle and I've not needed it yet. I also figured out that I can read codes by just tapping 2017 when it asks for the vehicle year. The subscription is cheaper during black friday.

    Bi-directional scanner recommendations

I went with the Autel 808 that also does tire pressure sensors. If you want to work on 2018 and up Chryslers, you need to pay the yearly subscription for the gateway crap.

    Lower Ball Joint Issue

Evidently the K80767 has a longer stud, but its not needed? Everything I can find says the K3199 will fit 02-07. The 05114037AH is the Mopar part number. I would much rather use the Moog K3199.

    Pan Drop Service or Leave It Alone? 2006 Liberty 3.7L 4WD / 42RLE @ 200k Miles

I'll always believe in dropping the pan and changing the fluid. I dont care how many miles are on a transmission. Heck, do it twice.

2003 Liberty Renegade radiator fan won’t turn on, all my diagnostic knowledge exhausted

Pretty sure thats called a fan module and it only came on the 02-03 Libertys (I think). It doesnt have any sort of mechanical relay in it. The 04 and up Libertys got fan relays in the PDC...

2003 Liberty Renegade radiator fan won’t turn on, all my diagnostic knowledge exhausted

Without testing things, the headlights/wipers sound like a bad ground or connection. You would need a wiring diagram and just start checking to see where the voltage is low/normal. Does the 03 KJ use a fan module thats under the battery?

A/C Stays on in Heater Mode

A/C will engage on 2005 and up Libertys when the floor or either defrost positions are used. You can either unplug the compressor or take apart the controls and tape over the little contact that turns on the A/C.

Oil pressure problem in the oil pan of a 42RLE automatic transmission

Regarding the last question about driving in D, I always turn off O/D if I'm constantly driving below 50 mph. I keep it in whatever gear that limits constant shifting. If Im going slow enough, I'll use 1st and 2nd gear as well.
