What kind of 'Napa reman filter' are we talking about? Sounds like PS, but I'm not familiar with a remanufactured filter of any sort. Is this an I line filter you added to the power steering system? In that case - you have it oriented correctly, on the return line to the reservoir, yes?- burntkat

Yes. Honestly, 75k on a joint isn't horrible. I have a similar problem with my front shaft (which I REALLY need to rebuild and get out of the cargo area). Before buying any 'imaginative' bulbs (yes those are nice bulbs, but don't last longer in my experience), one should educate themselves on the impact of voltage drop on halogen bulbs... Especially when the current is run through 30 feet or so of barely-adequate wire that is 20 or more years old...- burntkat

I need to replace my bulbs. I only have one operable high beam. Fortunately the aftermarket driving lights are god awful bright should I need more light, and the factory low beams seem quite good, too. Haven't done much to mine except drive it and swear at the - EDITED- AC for not working. Because brother, it's HOT out. Took my pup to the vet for a checkup today. The kid and I have been looking at these. I've always used a torch. Induction has its obvious bonuses. It goes without saying, fasteners MUST be replaced afterwards, even if they 'look fine'... Because they have been annealed and are no longer rated.- burntkat

Cutting the coil is likely a mistake. You've increased the rate of the spring (because physics) and can expect a harsher ride as well as it being unlikely you will see the desired reduction in ride height. Fingers crossed for you- burntkat
