I had a good time fishing. The “wheeling” was subpar. The old forest roads are a lot nicer than I remember. I pulled off on my way out to make a quick ramen noodle lunch.
I know if you’re in 4 Low, you can start the engine without pushing the clutch it. I’m guessing that’s what the “transmission range” block is in the upper diagram. I highly doubt my haynes book will show anything different, but I will look.
I’ll keep that in mind, Sota.
I went to the range and then tried a couple forest roads near it. I got a little muddy, but nothing crazy. Mostly, the roads were just lopey. Tomorrow, I’m going fishing, and I might find some more entertaining roads.
Almost rolled it…
I was returning my trailer to the back garage. I went and picked up my four wheeler (2003 Honda Rincon 650) from my parents’ house. It towed just fine. I need to make a regular tailgate for the trailer for when I’m hauling garbage and other things that sized. The ramp stands...
I figured out why my trailer lights don’t work properly (mostly). The yahoo who installed the T splice kit did not loom or tape the wires, and the insulation wore through over time. This must have shorted somewhere, because the right turn signal has always been too dim to see. So, I cut the...
They’ll have to rebalance everything anyways, and I don’t have time to do it this week or next. I got the manager to write it out on my tire slip, so it should be good.
Tires are on! However, the guy didn’t pay attention to my sheet and installed the tires white letter out… Oh well. They will get swapped around when I go back for a balance and rotate.
I ordered tires today. Our local L&M Supply (it’s basically a regional Tractor Supply type chain) has $50 off a set of 4 tires, which is what I’ve been waiting for. So, this week I’ll have a set of Advanta ATX-750’s coming in. They’re a cheap no frills tire, but the set I have have been awesome...
I did a little off roading this morning… I was zoned out while driving, snapped out of it as I was about 100’ before my turn, locked up the brakes, and went around the outside of the crossing’s stop sign. My wife was driving a ways behind me and said it’s the funniest thing she’s seen all week!
It should be the same as any other set up. The answer is yes. Adjust until you have some difficulty turning the wheels by hand. After that, roll backwards (on either an incline or idling in reverse) and set the brake. This will cause the brakes to adjust to their proper spot. When they start...
