MTR Old Style Opinion
I love mine they have never let me down. Awesome in the Mud great on the rocks and good on the highway. But I only use them on my off road trips so they have lasted me three years now and still have a lot of life in them.- kskj

Trying to find correct radiator fan
I doesn't take much to keep the fan from working. I little dirt or mud on the commutator. Try taking the fan motor out and spraying it down with electrical contact cleaner.- kskj

2004, just turned over to 170,000 miles today repairs Lower ball joints(recall)then just changed them again. Ac compresser x2 Radiator x2 sway bar links cv's front drive shaft x2 (I'm cheap bought them used) Steering rack bushings Broken Rancho shock Probably around 1,500...- kskj

Rad Fan Problems With Mud
Took my fan motor apart cleaned and reseated the brushes about 40,000 miles ago. All it takes to make it stop working is a muddy film. Still have the spare I bought but have not needed it yet.- kskj

OEM cooling system fan upgrade?
I bought the HD cooling kit just for offroading. I have never towed anything. The electric fan was just not enough for trips to Colorado. It would over heat at high altitude in 4 low. It happened two years in a row when I got over 11,000 feet. I installed the kit before I went to the safari...- kskj

Wyckoff has the mechanical fan blade and clutch for the hd cooling. The kit I bought last year also came with the electric fan and shroud that I already had on the 04. But I think you might need the shroud yours might be smaller On the 06. I have a extra one for the 04 but I'm not sure if it...- kskj
