    water pump

    I have the OEM water pump, and the Liberty is at 88K. I'm sure there are some members with a lot more miles that still have the OEM pump. If it's the heat from the engine, that might mean the incorrect coolant mixture or a faulty thermostat that lead to the pump failure.

    It's never happen to me. At least not in my Liberty. It's happen in the past with my old Montero but I know it was the pump itself, old style pumps, non digital.

    I know they are not the beefiest, maybe you replaced yours and you have one. I'm looking for only the transmission skid plate. JParts.com sells the 05-07for $42(pictured below) looking to see if I can save a few $$ and might find a used one for a better price. I have a 2002.
