    If the fuse checks good, and you're making sure that the blower is actually set to the on position (we all have those days...) ....the resistor pack may be bad. Search on here, as it's happened to others.

    I don't see how it could have been caused by a loose serpentine belt...especially since the belt on the 3.7 is tightened by an automatic tensioner.     I dont know, i've always heard that using one where the other was called wasn't good....personally I would have stuck with the Dexron since thats what the owners manual called for....but at the same time you've read that it's bad for them.
