Towing set up question?

I am setting up a 2006 KJ for towing and I would like to know what to do with the connection that was plugged into the electric fan. I went with a manual fan by adding the fan, fan clutch and shroud. The connection that was plugged into the electric fan is not connected to anything. Could this create a problem? I plan on using the jeep to tow at least a cord of firewood at a time. 2006 KJ, 3.7 - 4x4 - auto transmission

Cord of firewood is nothing much as far as towing, I used to haul a cord on my trailer 5 hours home from my parents with the electric fan , no manual one at all
So if not using let her hang
The manual fan should cool it enough as is

If the engine get hotter than normal, will the PCM try to communicate with the fan and since the fan is not connected cause the check engine light to come on? or shut the engine down to avoid damage. I will be traveling in a hilly area for about 60 miles.

Vehicles with the factory tow pack had both the engine driven fan, and a "thinner" electric fan in the fan shroud. Leaving the pigtail harness for the fan unplugged shouldn't cause any issues, but you may get a DTC for it being unplugged.
