Flasher resistor mod

I replaced all my turn signals and the first two LEDs caused hyperflash when I added anymore they just stayed on.

I didn't want to add resistors to every single led so I did this instead.

I'm followed some directions on another thread. I can't find it now but whoever made them your amazing.





I got lucky as the resistor just barely fits and I made sure nothing was touching.

Works well as I don't have hyperflash anymore.

The resistor used I used creates too much heat. I will reinstall a different resistor most likely 0.2 ohm.

How was your experience with the 0.2 ohm resistor?

Has anyone figured out how to eliminate hyperflashing in a KK without having to add individual resistors to all 4 turn signals?

I ended up using a 0.18ohm resistor and it no longer gets hot and doesn't even get warm.

Do the kk liberty's have the same type flasher module?

There is no flasher relay that can be swapped out in the KK because the flashers are part of the TIPM.

You might need the bulbs with built-in resistors, then.

Not sure why I can't edit my post but I replaced with the 1.8 ohm in the amazon link.

No longer heats up even after 10 mins.
