Driver door handle issue

Hello jeepers

I’m having an issue with the driver door handle or latch I don’t know which but heres what im having:

The outer handle has play in it (does not return flush)
The handle engages with the latch to open the door by the end of its travel and sometimes it takes couple of tries to open
When unlocking the vehicle with the remote, the lock sometimes gets obstructed in its upward movement (the motor actuates)
Internal door handle can unlock and open the door, also when the lock is down it opens but lets you feel resistance inside
Sometimes the latch doesn’t hook when closing the door, i found when pushing the outer handle in it latches normally.






I could use information if anyone has experienced a similar issue and what might be the probable cause of this.

I would pull the door panel off and watch the levers/cables in the door as you operate the handle - looks like there is probably a seized pivot or lever on the door latch causing the handle to not operate correctly and for the power lock to stick.
