Hi all,

Which type & brand of brake pads do you like best?

I do a lot of urban driving plus long distance towing, so good brakes are a must.

Thanks in advance.
I have nothing but good to say about PowerStop brand. I run their ceramic pads, smooth rotors, and calipers (which are JBA red and look cool...)
Have had nothing but good luck with the brand to the point I run their stuff on the entire family's vehicles: Three Nissans and a Subaru.

You know how badly I abuse Bert. Only time I got worried was diving down off a mountain in Great Basin National park. Definitely overheated the brakes a bit...but they came out of that abuse just fine. Have coming up on 35k miles on the Liberty PowerStops and they show barely any wear.

Good to know, since that’s what I got! Thanks for your review. Not everyday that another field scientist can review vehicle related stuff I need!

My dad always said tires and brakes are not something you don't go cheap on. If it won't start and run, it can't kill you!

I just did my fronts with Powerstop, non slotted, they feel great. I'll do the back when I get a nice day.
