Anyone have a trailer hitch-style bike rack? I'm liking at one of the "heavy duty" ones for 2 E-bikes. Curious about anyone's experience.

I've had this one for several years. Best. Investment. EVER.

eta: damn. looks like they've discontinued it. :(
the TwoTimer appears to be current stock though, so if you only need 2 bikes you could get that.
If you do i'll tell you about a couple changes I made to mine to handle some of the "complaints" some people had/have about it, namely that it (and most other hitch bike racks) wiggles in the hitch mount.

Thanks - any issues being long enough to clear the spare?
I could not use that exact model, but love the feedback. Getting 2 E-bikes and weight would exceed the Yak's spec.

I have a recon rack, now owned by 1up. I had the guy send a longer stinger, but the stock did fit just barely. There's also the velocirak that is pretty much a straight ripoff of the recon rack with a few extra gizmos.

Yea, I had to use a 12" extension IIRC, to get the rack to clear the rear tire. I customized it a bit so that I could put the rack as close to the spare as possible, as well as added a couple hitch clamps to keep things from rattling around. works fantastic like that, and had no concerns when we did an 880 mile round trip to NC for a week's "vacation".

I would say, if you could find the 4-timer someplace for a good price, just don't install the +2 portion of it and it'll support far more weight, since it's a 2" hitch setup vs. the 2-timer's 1.25" (that's adapted to 2")
and by that I mean, the 4-timer ships disassembled as a 2-up and you have to bolt on an additional 2-up segment to it.
