I got the front passenger side axle seal out. My 07 liberty has the bushing and not the bearing. I slid the intermediate shaft only in to check for any play in the bushing. The intermediate shaft has some up, down and side to side play in it. My question is should there be any movement at all? The movement was very little. I don't know if I should try to replace the bushing as well.

Replaced not that long ago, and none of the parts stores have the plastic axle bushing. Guess I will have to go to the dealership.
Don't bother with the plastic bushing. The needle bearing is a much better option and a direct fit. Put "torrington j-228" into your Google machine and it should come right up.

Got the new one from the dealership today, got the seal installed and put everything back together.
Thanks for the help!
