NP231 Transfer Case & D30a Pinion Specs

Hello everyone:

I am in need of some specs for the front output shaft on the KJ NP231 TCase & pinion on the Dana 30 A front diff.

I need the following for D30a & NP231:
- Output/pinion shaft diameter
- Spline count
- Hub diameter (seal diameter)
- Through length (Through-hole/length of splines)


I've tried doing some research, but it looks like KJ NP231s may be different than the other Jeeps, at least the older models. Also, the D30a is pretty much unique to the KJ, so not much information out there.


Any help y'all can provide would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone else needs this information:

D30a:
- Output/pinion shaft diameter - 1.844"
- Spline count - 26
- Hub diameter (seal diameter) - I'm still not sure what this is for
- Through length (Through-hole/length of splines) - 1.3"

NP231 (Front Output):
- Output/pinion shaft diameter - 1.62"
- Spline count - 26
- Hub diameter (seal diameter) - I'm still not sure what this is for
- Through length (Through-hole/length of splines) - 1.5"
