Hi everyone

I need your advice for my 2005 / 2,8 / Crd / limited

I installed my cherokee 2inc lifting kit.
I think about that to remove the rear kit to decrease the rear height of the vehicle

I just need an important info that;
does it affect the operation of the rear drive line/shaft positively or negatively..
does the rear shaft run more smoothly like the original? if yes it will be better for the vehicle..

The main reason is, the top of the vehicle is rubbing against the garage door.

I m looking forward to your comment. it will help me to decide this operation.

thanks,
Can

Can you give more details about what you used for lift? Internet link or pictures?

With a spacer lift like that it's probably just a matter of time and it will sag on it's own. Other options are to machine that rear spacer to the height you prefer. Easiest thing would be to put something heavy in the back.

NEVER EVER use any spacer lift on a CRD
Bad voodoo

OME 790s are for the CRD and will give you 2.5 inches of lift
Of course if you do not lift the rear, front will be higher than the rear
