Core4x4 rear lower control arms for a jeep grand Cherokee WJ will fit your kj it's what I run on my kj
Yes, but there's no mount for the rear sway bar. I know you and probably others will say it's not necessary but leave that to the OP's discretion. you can also get adjustable rear control arms (with sway bar mount) from Ironrock offroad. For what you get, I think the price is very reasonable.

OK to no spacers. OK to no Wrangler wheels :)
I am wondering, with the setup described, if I could use stock Renegade wheels on something wider that 245s… I am just wondering if either the 255 or 265 would work for either 70 or 75. Am pretty sure I need an 8” wide wheel for 265/75 16 (and it might need more than the 2.5” OME lift) but I’m wondering if there is a way to go wider than 245/75 16 on stock Renegade model wheels

Ps. I know the OME is listed as 1.5” kit but have read that it is closer to 2.5”… let me know if I’m mistaken

Thanks y’all!
You can fit up to 265/70 on a 7" rim, that's not the issue. The issue is rubbing on the inside AND clearance to the upper control arm. Without wheel spacers or a wheel with less offset, going to 245 is about the widest you can safely go.

Hey if another company sells a set with mounts for the swaybar and they want those I say go for it,form my personal experience the sway bar isnt needed but to each there own

With my set up using stock kj wheels I'm rolling on 255/75/17 with no rubbing issues street/offroading

Is the clearance to the upper control arm an issue with the JBA control arms? I thought that was part of why they are better.

Clearance from uca to spring in rebound/downward motion is improved by 100% with jba uca according to them. Otherwise you get binding. I was referring to the inner tire hitting the uca.

When lifted stock wheels will work
or
16X7 with 4 inch backspacing
or if running 255 70 16 or 265 70 16 the 18X8 with 5 inches of backspacing
anything else you will lose articulation in the rear due to having to run more / taller bumpstops

The shocks that come on the OME KIT will work if only street driven, any off roading and they will top out
Thx Tom! Do you know the ideal backspacing for a 15x8 steel wheel with 31x10.5 tires?

Wow, really? What's your setup???
Using the RRO rockfather 2 kit with RRO front upper control arms, 2 isos in the rear and the RRO top plate which gives you another 3/4 in. lift up front, core 4x4 wj rear lower control arms.. I have the RRO bump stop extender on my upper arms and 2 hockey pucks in the rear...bump stops are a huge help prevents the tires from getting all wedging in the fender wells, dont forget to fold over your pinch welds up front this set up has taken me all over Moab, mexico and Everywhere in Az. You will lose some power without regearing but it's a liberty its not a speed demon anyways, you have enough to pass slower traffic and go up and down hills when commuting ..offroad you'll never notice the power loss
