Mystery cable ?

Had a new 4X4 cable installed and got the car back yesterday, was looking in the back seat and saw this cable / connector just there, Sent mechanic picture and he says he has no idea but will get back to me. I cleaned the car before I dropped it off so I know it was not there, the seats are not electric. Any ideas on what it is for ? Thanks

maybe it's for the rear window regulator switches that's on the middle console?

Rear window switch cable. Connects thru that console.

Lift the lid, pop out the fasteners, bc we can't write s c r e w s , attach the connector and you are gtg.
