I recently purchased a 2010 Jeep Liberty limited. Before I bought it it had the plugs and coils changed. I changed the oil with full synthetic 530 and I change the air filter as well. I'm consistently running about 19 litres per 100 km. That's roughly 13 miles per gallon. Is this the kind of mileage I can expect or should it be better than that? Is there anything you'd recommend that I should inspect or replace? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yep. That’s actually pretty good around town mileage.

New plugs and full induction fuel injector cleaning took me from 12.9 to 13.9 mpg in town. Good thing I only drive about 150 miles a week.

Yes, 13 mpg is decent city mileage. I get 11-12 in the city with my 31” larger tires and lift. Highway mileage should be in the realm of 20-21 mpg or so. I get 17 with my larger tires. Need to regear…

Did a quick calculation. Averaging 14 mpg instead of 12, driving 15,000 miles per year, at the current price of $4.50 a gallon saves… $1125 a year!!

Wow. We have an 07 Libby with the 3.7 and 6-speed stick. It gets 18-19 MPG, city, highway, or combined. And it has since it was new.
