hi guys
I'm very confused, I want to replace the axle shaft bearing (KJ 2006)
my original was the plastic one MOPAR 5066056AB
now I found out this is not easy to find this part and everybody goes with the bearing MOPAR 5066056AA
there is really difference between them? which is the best solution?
thanks!

I have not worked in that area so cannot comment on which is the best.

The last two Alpha characters are merely a revision level so they are compatible but probably someone in Design decided that going to the AB design as apposed to the AA design was an improvement ...so they started making it and replaced the AA version with the AB system.

I think most people are going with the AA version because they believe the "improved" AB version is junk! ;)

Liberty's came with the AA version till they decided to cheap out and go with the AB version. No idea when they made the switch, but I know my 04 has the AA version.

Im not sure if you can simply switch out the AB for the AA version. I would personally much rather have the bearing.

I replaced mine and used the metal bearing. It’s a 2002 and came with it and no way would I waste my time installing plastic
