Hardest part is going to be pulling the dash lights out way things looking. Rest of the delete looks pretty straight forward.

Drove it down to Medina, OH for an event. Went through Hinckley but did not stop to hang with the buzzards.

Nice job! Looking good.
Took two weeks as the bolts were stuck. Got three out with far too much effort. Got the othe three a few turns and gave up. Dosed em with Kroil and Free All every few days and drove around for two weeks. That loosened them up! Lol

Of course it took 15 min to install. ;)

Was a busy day. In addition to the tank armor, cleaned and detailed the interior. Reorganized the traveling tools and recovery gear. Found and repaired a short in the dome lights circuit. Lubed up all the zerk fittings. Spent a few hours troubleshooting the abs…Getting a warranty replacement, again, for passenger front. Bad connector on this one. Checked all the fluids.

Field season is just a few short weeks away!

I ordered a spring last month to help solve the issue with the handbrake lever coming-up to near vertical before the brakes come on.
This morning I stripped out the centre console and was able to confirm that the clockspring wasn't doing it's job in taking up the slack in the cables.
My hands are too big to get the helper spring located, so I liberally sprayed the entire mechanism with silicon oil, to soak through while I went in for lunch.
After lunch I got Pauline out to help, with her much smaller hands, and went to demonstrate the issue to her - only now it's not doing it!
The generous lubrication now has the mechanism working perfectly, with only 3 clicks before the handbrake is engaged.
Put everything back together and it's fine.
The bonus for anyone that wants to try this is that you only have to remove the cubby box to get good access to the mechanism to spray it; the rest of the centre console can remain in place.

Oh got another 4 horn setup from a 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood today.
Older gentleman and i were talking the other day and the sounds of horns came up
Told him to try the ones on the 03 and he knew right away what I had ( the 4 horn Caddy set )
He said he had a set in his garage
Tried to buy them from him, no, not for sale
Today he shows up and gave them to me, ...... SCORE
Best sounding horns ever
now will have them on all 3 KJs

Yeah, I keep forgetting I have big ol’ horns up front now. The Subi sounded like the RoadRunner.

Tommudd here on phone, I did great today after work, went out checking line fence, way off camber , and managed to gently ( LOL ) remove both rear upper bumpstops , between off camber, bouncing over cow paths and maybe too much fun, they are now bouncing around inside the rear coils.

This should be a great thread that we can keep going. That way we can all keep up with the small day to day tinkering and give some ideas to those looking to do something! Pics are strongly encouraged!!! (Cheers)
I replaced the CV axle on the front driver's side. Replaced all 4 rotors and brake pads. Yay!
