moparwholesaleparts says it's
68059549AA

And that's the one with the oval hole for attachment. I thought it was a round hole?

Oh, it says this is the replacement. But still, an oval or oblong hole? And a round O ring?

Drove it to work and back and come home to find a silver 03 sitting in my driveway
and drivers side way low, yep ball joint broke
Guy stopped 2 months ago said he had a noise in front , checked it out and told him ball joint was bad drivers side ( over 1/2 inch play) , passenger little more
Well drivers side broke today and he had it hauled here
Good thing I keep so many new parts in stock
he wanted me to put in cheapest I could find , told him moog greaseable ones or nothing at all
Now to run and get my BJ kit from my buddy, .....................who " borrowed it for a day " 6 months ago :)
UPDATE:
well both sides apart and waiting, buddy not home :(

If the ball joint broke is it even remotely drivable? Wouldn't the lower A-arm just be rubbing on the inside of the rim? I have never seen a broken one before. I have replaced a few before they got that bad.

Removed my equalizer hitch a few months ago and put a few coats of Tremclad black on it. I'm sure the power brush and Emory Discs 80 grit took a pound of rust off of it.
Put it on today and hooked up the electrics to the trailer plug.
Looks good and now I have a place to pull someone out of the ditch over the next few months. Hoping to see bad weather so I can test it out.
Front already came with 2 tow hooks.

Guy just came to pick up his KJ with the broken/ worn out LBJs
Took morning off work to get my BJ kit, finish it up
Told him I'd take it easy on him since it's Christmas time, he has kids etc , so just charged him 80 dollars for the 2 Moog 3199 ball joints, plus 60 for install
and his response "THAT IS REDICULOUS !!!"
He left mad said he is going to see the " LAW "
Told him last night 150-175 and he stated "OK"
So locking his KJ in the shop and heading out !
Already called the " LAW " and told them , plus my Lawyer ( who laughed his butt off )
stupid people, why do I even try to help people out

Advance Auto Parts wants $74.99 each for them
I bought 8 sets last time so got a deal and thought I would help the guy out some

To get my hitch off I also have to remove the rear bumper, Kilby gas tank skid plate so trying to line 3 heavy things up by yourself is just not going to happen very often ;)

waitwaitwait, maybe I'm missing something. He's pissed that you're only charging him $140 for a complete LBJ job when you originally quoted him higher?

Man some people are made of spare parts.

He'd feel robbed if you did it all for free. The dude deserves a Yugo.

That's the way I see it too.

Should of asked him to watch you do it. Charge him 15% more.

If he wants to help you, charge him 25% more.

Did my hitch yesterday by myself with the skid plate already bolted on.
Held up the skid plate with a 2"X4"X18" softener and a floor jack. Raised it up 1/2" to know it had weight on it. Took out 5 of the 6 bolts. Left one bolt in the opposite side and rested the hitch on the 2"X 4" X18" that was sticking out under the spare tire. Did one bolt on one side and then removed the bolt I left in on the other side and raised up the hitch and made the connection.
Worked good by myself.

The " LAW " called me , they said they listened to him, had one of the other deputies call his brother who works in a Jeep dealership in Virginia
the tech told his brother if they were doing it , 2 lowers installed would of been well over 500 !
So they are sending the guy back out to get his Jeep and said he should give me extra ! LOL
Hasn't shown up yet
Plus now have a JK to do a 3 inch lift on for the deputy !

Ok, a little clarification here? How does the pictured fastener on the bumper/front flare come apart?

Any more heartburn from the client, put the old ones back on and tell him to have it towed to a dealer. I'm too old to play anymore.

Most of those have a hole in the center and then a " pin " is placed in there to spread the back part of the fastener out and hold things together
If you can not get to the backside of it to push it out, just drill it out and replace the fastener
