Aftermarkets Moabs wheels?

Before I ask a first post question, I want to thank everyone on this forum for the priceless resource of information here. I have fixed and upgraded a long list of items on a 2002 KJ that my Mom left me this year. I am mostly done installing a Frankenlift II with JBA upper control arms.

So next is wheels and tires. I have been looking for some 16 x 8 Moab rims without any luck.
The aftermarkets Moabs wheels from Quadratec are backordered for a month or so. Any other ideas or recommendations where I can find that style?

Notch your bumpstops before you break off the grease zerk for one thing
and looks like you cut out the holes for the UCAs
On to Moab looking wheels, continue to look as the stck MOABs are forged whereas the aftermarket are cast wheels , there fore not as strong
But I have a silver one I took in on trade for sale cheap

I'm in the Cincinnati area and really wanted to to bring it to you, but with a lift and all the tools available I gave it a go.
No cutting by me for the UCA's and the one I removed seemed original. I just replaced the bump stops and forgot about the v notch for the grease fitting. Only drove it to the back lot so far, so no damage yet!

Are any of the reconditioned wheels like from Wheels and Caps worth considering?

Maybe my ugly wheel well is due to a messy grease job.
Besides the bumpstop notch, I assume I will have to do the pinch weld mod if I use Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70R16 on Moab 16 x 8 wheels?

Tom, thanks for the quick response. I have the rear and passenger front done. Still driver front to do, but I'm changing lower ball joints, tie rod ends and hub bearings at the same time. Lots of Ohio rust on some of the hardware. That and being old slowed me down...

Tell me about the Ohio rust, should see some from the Cleveland area, rust upon rust LOL

I had to watch CL for quite a while before some came up. Ask your local 4x4 shop. People seem to think they need 17 and 18 inch wheels on tj's now and again

one set of 5 I sold the tires and after that I had $0.00 in them

Damn out here in Az sets of moabs are always for sale always 200-250 I should start selling and shipping lol

My current set came from West Virginia.. I look at ads once a week. Nothing local

That is the way I do, have bought 4 sets , still own 2 sets
check everywhere all the time , even like this week checked locations from Ohio down into NC since was heading there

Aftermarket Moabs do not have a lip on them either by the way
