What are your rails. I wish jcroffroad still made theirs but they don't.

Rock Lizard , no longer made
JCRs were not too bad, installed a few sets of them, never could get the bolts right since they had you drill holes where there were already larger holes in the frame :happy175:
RRO still has some but they are lightweight and bend easily

Seen two sets bend of the RROs, bowed up, bent in, maybe a fluke
The RLs that were on the 04 were put against trees, rocks etc and spun around , over them

Those rock rails look good. My Mopar stock rock rails rusted out from the inside, but did do their job on several occasions. I had some square stock on hand so I cut off the rusted out rails and welded the rectangular stock I had onto the brackets. They may be called into action this weekend, and we'll see if they're way too skimpy.

Need to stick out further to protect body , plus the stock rails are held on with pretty flimsy material so will bend

It's a quick fix for stock rails that rust out, with materials on hand, and while I have put the rails to use, they are there to protect the accidental contact, not to rely on them for rock crawling. However, I will see if they will adjust out farther, that's a great point.
