Transmission relearn?

okay I'm having a hard shift from 2 to 3 it's not horrible but I've read that there is a transmission relearn procedure where I can disconnect the battery and follow through with it and it will help the transmission relearn can anybody shed some light on this

If you mean a quick learn, that is not it. All that will do is erase trans adaptives. Quick learn requires a scan tool to initiate.

Have you ever serviced the transmission, with a pan drop & new ATF+4 & filter? Maintenance around 60K is a good idea. IS your fluid hot at the full line or slightly above?
Since you are experiencing a hard shift, I'd want to have it scanned for any transmission codes first, even know what the CVI, clutch volume index readings are.
