hello.

for the past few months my 2006 has been pulling to the right. i have replaced my steering rack bushes- all other rubber parts are new. but its always the same- i will get an alignment at the shop. every bolt torqued to correct spec. kj goes straight. then after a few weeks it will start pulling to the passenger side. the pull gets more and more severe. i will get another alignment at a different shop- all is well...for 2 weeks. these last months i did not go offroad cause of covid- so i did not hit anything, no huge bumps. just day to day driving.

any ideas?

Front sway bar end links ? Check for play in hubs. Check Ball joints. I hope it's not the steering rack itself.

thax-i alredy installed a steering rack 1 month ago. re welded new steering rack mounts instead of the ones that came on the rack- for extra strength on the passenger side mount. AND did some more welding on the crosmember. the rack is sitting tight. we checked it for slack and it was ok. new moog steering rack bushes too. the end links on the sway bar bushes (jba end links) are all good too. we also checked the front hubs. the balljoints were also checked - it is a dangerous weak point so i have those checked whenever the jeep is going in for a service. they are moog problem solvers and they are 3 years old. I am really in a bind here....cant figure out why this is happening

Tom might have a better idea as to what's going on there.
I assume you have the JBA 4.5 A-Arms correct?

Are the camber/caster bolts sufficiently torqued to keep the from moving over time?

Rear end suspension can also cause pulling problems... I bought a few years ago a 2006 KIA Spectra that was a salvage vehicle. The large tractor that picked up the car in the yard bent two rear lateral arms and when I "illegally" drove it home that car pulled heavily to the right... It was a nightmare driving in snow at 20~30 mph fighting the car on the side of the road.. Replaced the lateral arms and had it aligned and no more pulling... I thought it was a front end problem... Never again...
Have the rear suspension checked (toe in - toe out)
Dave
