Well after spending more than 3-4 hours last night and this morning, I'm here seeking advice on what removal tool to use.

Followed instructions here and I was able to remove the original PCV valve https://www.jeepkj.com/threads/how-to-replace-the-pcv-valve-on-some-2007-and-up-jeep-liberty.57837/

However, installing the new part was a pain in the ass. I used this long adjustable plumbing pipe wrench and this is all I could get it to turn. It won't turn anymore and it is sticking out. Check engine light is still on, probably due to code P507.

Would it be okay if the PCV valve isn't all the way in?

Not very familiar with the 07 but did do an 07 PCV swap on my 02 years ago. The 02 has a breather in the 07 PCV spot that's threaded just the same though. Mine stuck out a bit too when tight so I don't think they go in very far. I had a very big deep socket to install mine but the adjustable wrench should be okay.

Need an 07 (or up) person to check in but the P0507 could be caused by many things. I guess it won't hurt to clean the TB, IAC and such but I think any intake leak could cause it as well. You checked all the other breather lines?

Edit, I should have asked if the idle was actually high too. Could be the IAC. They get dirty.

Yeah, forgot the TPS and IAC are integral parts of the TB in the 07-12. You have to replace the whole TB. I don't think they are serviceable.

Thank you!

I cleaned the TB yesterday with TB spray cleaner and later after driving it a few miles the TB dashboard came on.

Yes the inspection place did say my idle was high.
Going to see what else I can do before I put the monies down on a new TB
