Photos of white/silver painted steel wheels?

Guess this is something like a photo request? Is anyone running/has run painted steel wheels in silver or white? Thinking of getting some of those black OEM style steelies people use for winter wheels in 16x7, 4" BS and painting them white or silver. Like the Taco below. Kind of an old school Toyota look but I think it could look good on a KJ if done right.




The other option is some D-Window steel wheels in 15x7 4" BS painted the same way. I don't think anyone has done this (well except for the one dude who did silver) but if anyone knows a record of someone who did white from somewhere in the deep collective recesses of the KJ forums I'd be glad to see a sample. I know of one forum member here from JeepKJ who ran a similar setup in silver and it looks decent but his Jeep is green and mine is red. Also like the more moderate lift he gets from the H&R spring paired with the 15" steels and 30x9.5s



Anyways, probably a long shot but thought I'd put it out there! If not, I think this is the direction I'm going for wheels so I'll be the guinea pig when I get around to it.

I think to pull off the white steelies I'll have to repaint the plastic trim black because white with gray trim might clash a little bit. Silver steelies I think would look fine without having to repaint all the trim.
