I'd be in for like 26. 1 could make a killing with a design similar to moogs kit for Chrysler mid rack inner tie rod bushings. Be a 20 minute fix.

add me to the list as well.

I just looked and the mud is all broken free around the rack so I know it has been moving a little since I got it muddy.

I would
Have bought these in a heartbeat. I’ve recently replaced mine as I couldn’t wait any longer.
And it was not a 20 minute job. More like 2 hours of removing the rack basically

Does anyone know if the 2007 uses the same OEM bushing as the 02 thru 06? Most sites only list them for 02 thru 06. My 07 needs the rack bushing replaced as well.

If yours has the steel sleeve/ large bolts going thru it I would say yes.
I wonder if you called the dealer & see if they can look up on the 07 parts fiche for steering rack bushing..hmmm...
***** not having an 07 FSM or parts fiche.

I have installed these. Sorry for the lack of detailed report or photos. But the install went smooth. Hardest part was obviously manipulating the old rack around and getting the old ones out. I kept the rack in the vehicle though I did disconnect the tie rods from the knuckle.

High quality bushings. They fit perfect. It was not as bad of a job as I expected. They shipped the parts very quick too

I tried the dealer and they were no help. They said the bushings came pressed in and could not be replaced and I needed to buy the complete steering rack.
The ones in my 07 don't look as bad as yours, I will wait on them.

*long drag and exhale on cig* why not.
I've parts cannon'ed everything else in the front end and it still is squirrelly, so might as well as do these.

Thanks ! Good to hear that the poly bushings are high quality and fit perfectly.
I'll probably hold off until May for installation. Luckily the cracked bushings are not moving up or sideways yet.

Have you checked out the rear upper A-arm?

My steering rack bushings were fine but I just replaced them a few weeks ago while I had the diff out. Very easy to change out.

And just an FYI, that bit of rubber that sticks out out of the top doesnt really tell you the condition of the bushing. Thats just extra rubber that sticks up. I replaced mine with mopars but might wouldve went with those poly bushings had I known. Ahh, these should do me another 16 years...
