New to the forums and new to lifting liberty’s. I have owned my 06’ for 5 years now. Has just under 200k on it. Runs and drives great still. It is currently my travel/car camping vehicle for work and hunting rig when home. I have just ordered my lift kit.
927’s front
948’s rear
OME 90009 front
OME N132L rear
Teraflex bump stops front
Hockey pucks (2) per side rear.
My question is what other suspension components are a must to replace when I do the lift?
Or is recommended?
OEM or Aftermarket brand?

Make sure that you are ready to replace the front cv axles and also I joints due to the angles changing with the lift. You should also plan on replacing your front upper control arms once the current ones wear out.

Most times you do not have to replace CVs, they are in constant up and down motion so they are used to running at different angles
rear ujoints can be an issue though since most times they are pretty much worn out anyways
front upper control arms are a wear item like the lower ball joints so yes they should be checked now and on a regular basis after the lift

Looks like a good list and will provide a solid 2.5 inches of lift over new stock height
Just check all other suspension parts while you have it torn down

Thanks for the helpful information guys. Much appreciated. I have read a lot that you don’t need the JNA upper arms unless you go 3” or more but with the setup I purchased would they still be a good investment if simply for the build quality and able to rebuild when worn out? Or should I just stick with stock for now? Also what brand do you recommend to replace the lower ball joints? Thanks again.

The JBA UCAs are a great upgrade for sure, not needed at 2.5 inches of lift but I still recommend them
I run them on the 03 with 2.5 lift does great, can grease them and no issues
for the lowers use Moog greaseable ones K80767 should be the ones , I'll double check and change here in a minute if needed

After I got home I crawled under the front of my Jeep to day dream what the new suspension will look like. While I wait for it to show up I noticed the conditions of the bushing on the rest of the suspension components that won’t get replaced with said new suspension kit. So I got on RockAuto and build a cart list of parts to replace while installing new OME kit.
Moog K80767 (2)
Moog K200258 (2)
Moog K200431 (4)
Moog K200161 (2)
Moog K7391 (2)
Question? Is it worth going all out and going with ALL moog bushings for the rest of the suspension parts or would replacing them with another brand oem or aftermarket be fine?

Would not hurt a thing when you consider that the newest KJ is now 13 years old

I have a question for you Tomm. In an earlier post you mentioned fabricating a lowering bracket when installing a lift. What is this bracket?

Lowering bracket ??????
On 06-07s you have to make a bracket to drop down the rear brake lines, is that what you mean ?

Another question. I've had to replace my inner tie rods twice with OEM. Can you recommend a brand that won't wear out as quick or maybe evan have a grease fitting. Thanks

I’ve been seeing a lot of information about front clevis lift and rear isolators. Is this something I can/should do when installing my new OME suspension or is this just something people do when trying to fix sagging suspension on a old setup? I have the JBA upper arms so I can get my alignment back to speck after install. Would this just allow me to get a little bit more height from my lift?

How much lift do you want ?
OME 927/948 combo gives you 2.5 inches of lift over new stock height
Adding extra rear iso's and clevis lift give you some more lift but then other things come into play
you start thinking bigger tires so then a regear is needed
So if you think 2.5 inches will be enough no extra's are needed

My 04 I bought new has the original inners yet, 232,000 miles and lifted over 210,000 of those miles, mostly over 4 inches
are yours worn out or why are you having to replace them?

I bought my 04 about a year ago. At that time the inners had about 1/16" play at the pivot point with almost 1/2" play at the tire. I replaced them with OEM tie rods. Now 15000 miles later they are doing the same thing.
The only after market ones I find online with any type of branding is from Detroit Axle. Do they sell quality products or are they Chinese junk.
