Trying to replace the rear UCA and snapped off a sway bar bolt... any ideas on how to proceed? tried vice grips without success. There's about 3/4" of thread showing. Also, what are the specs for the bolt?
Thanks!

HJ here is the bolt information #2..

Did you try penetrating oil overnight and maybe some heat/propane torch to heat threads up?

It has PB blaster on it now and I'll try heat tomorrow! Thanks so much for getting the bolt specs.

Rear sway bar? Leave it off
Does next to nothing really as it is since it does not attach to the body in any way
04 has been off for over 200,000 miles pulling trailers all over etc
03s has been off almost 60,000 miles and the same
I have about 25-30 of them laying in the junk pile that has been removed with no ill effects

Got it out. Had to use heat, vice grips with the jack handle and the BFH. Lots of PB blaster too. I know the sway bar doesn't do much, but I can get the bolts for a buck or two and it's easier to throw it back on than to not be able to fit it in the garbage and trip over it in the garage for 2 months. LOL
