I have had my JBA Upper control arms installed for about 40k miles. Mechanic indicated the passenger side is starting to go. Should I replace both ball joints at the same time or am I ok with just the one? I plan on getting the replacement unit(s) from JBA.

I'd do both really, cheap insurance
Only 40,000 miles ??
Do you have the rebuildables or the GM regular ball joints ?

Thanks. I'm not sure about rebuildable, my UCAs are Gen 4.5. How can I tell? By the way, the rebuildable kit is more than the replacement.

rebuildables are in the 4.5s as well, only been 4.5s for years now
Yes they are more expensive, but more travel and last longer
