Does anyone know what size pipe in and out the cats are on an 05? Need to replace mine and cant find a definite answer anywhere. I've seen 2, 2.25, and 2.5 and not sure of which it is. Thanks

Buy direct bolt ons and they will be the right size.
Buying generic ones will not flow as well

I can see why it is confusing.

If you are trying to save money over all options, then taking it to an exhaust shop to weld in an "universal" would be the way to get it solved but as mudd mentioned you will probably get something worse than stock. A good muffler shop should be able to steer you in the right direction though, even with a universal option.

If you dont want to take it to a shop and if you don't care about performance then get one of the off brand bolt on's. Even a cheap bolt on will cost you the same or more than a shop welding in a replacement for your bad cat alone though.

Do not do not do not get the pacesetter. Absolute junk. The welds were so bad. Returned them and got walker, much better.

Rockauto had the best prices
