I put some Monroe econo-matic coil overs in the front over the weekend, wasn't much fun with rusted up upper balljoints. I have new rear springs coming so I can put those on next weekend. I might get yelled at for getting the monroes but they are much better than the stock ones or what was left of them
For now I'm sure they are, but for how long is the question?

Yea it’s completely different set up.
I been a cooper fan for many years and been running the at3s and the newer version on both jeeps in a 245 series with 1.5” spidertrax spacers

I found these Moabs wrapped in Maxxis Razr M/T tires sized at 265/75/16

I feel they are a smidge tall for the front oddly enough. The rear bumpstop hits the double stack hockey pucks before any fender damage ( I hope ) from a quick jack test

The front I’m using .25” clevis spacer and the .25” top plate spacer.
I might have to add another .25” clevis ring and figure out how to get the front bumper area not to rub when turning.

I’ll be using the stock wheels for winter if I can get these wheels to run nicely now.
I'd sell the tires, adding more is just going to cause extra wear , unless you like that kind of thing

That is what one guy talked me into installing on his KJ a few years back, the next weekend I was removing them ( since he hated the ride) and doing OME all around, still have the whole set laying in the garage

Well since the keeping by al doesn’t seem to stock any parts for KJs , can we modify the 1/4” top plate with 3mm washers to make it 3/8?
Just trying to find a way to make things fit better.

^ That is a an excellent deal, they will last a while!
There is an upgraded/ stronger longer lasting part to be found by searching for the 2004 Sebring convertible blower motor resistor part, I used RU1040 BWD.
You must be registered for see images attach

^ You can see the build quality difference! ^

They should last as long as the tires will, by then it might be time for something different to drive. Never know, I could hit a deer tomorrow and total it

I plan to keep my cars long term, so I take care of them as such. Just lost a 2000 Buick to a blown head gasket with offer 200k, I have a 2004 Yukon with almost 200k runs great, and the Jeep with just over 150k, drives like new. But that's how I roll.

My last 3 vehicles have gone over 200k miles, my 96 K1500 blew the torque converter at over 250k miles, 160k miles were mine, my 91 Toyota went at 230k because the crankshaft gear blew up for the timing chain, 200k miles on me and my 2004 Pontiac Sunfire died at just over 200k because the PCV system was garbage, no PCV valve and I found the quart of oil I thought it was burning every 3000 miles in the air intake. I bought the 2006 Liberty Renegade with almost 90k on it a couple years ago for only $5000. The one thing I should really do is drop the transmission pan and change the fluid and filter but that access is likely blocked by a factory skid plate

No I’m being serious. The plate sits on top of the strut mount and under the strut tower. If I can’t get a 3/8” one made , wouldn’t using 3mm washers essentially be the same thing ?

Yeah I wouldn’t mind taking a trip from buffalo to Columbus if you’re free a weekend. I just can’t get the parts for cheap and find the time (new born son)
See my thread - I’m a bit confused with my current lift situation anyways.

Changed oil and found my Dside rack bushing was mush. Everything felt tight and don't feel anything in the steering but the top rubber had shroomed out. 3500 miles ago it was fine since I check it every oil change. Need it for a decently long trip this weekend so hopefully it will keep until next chance.

Chrysler is really staring to tick me off (for several reasons). Pretty soon they'll join GM on my Sh#t List.

I replaced the CV on the t-case side for the front drive shaft tonight. It was a pita to get out and back in. My 11 year old half brother is visiting and wanted to watch most of it. He got a kick out of it, and it kept him off electronics for a while.
