Anybody else running the JBA coil overs and have them squeak when driving. I’ve had mine in now for a little over a year and about two weeks ago the passenger coilover started squeaking over every bump in the road. It’s driving me nuts hearing it all the time. It has always made some noise Offroad but never while just driving down a paved road and I hit a bump. Should I try spraying it with a lubricant? Maybe it’s just gone bad internally?

Have you checked the sway bar bushings, or are you sure about its the coilovers ?

I sprayed the sway bar bushings with silicon spray and had no change in the noise. Having someone push on the passenger side of the Jeep can produce the noise every time. This weekend I have off and plan on disconnecting the sway bar and testing just to make sure.

If that doesn't take care of it, call Marlin at JBA, tell him what it is doing , road conditions etc,

Well over the weekend I disconnected the sway bar and squeak was still there. Tried greasing upper and lower ball joints and it was still there as well. I did notice that it doesn’t happen until I’ve driven for several minutes though but once I have driven and park I can still push in the passenger side to produce the noise. I will be contacting marlin in the morning and see what he has to say. I’m thinking a defective shock.

Thought I would update this. I spoke with Marlin at JBA about it and he is going to Warranty the shock and send me a new one. Apparently they are having a hard tome with the coilovers and getting the parts to assemble them so it took a while for them to get my shock out. Overall good customer service once again.
