How did you end up with your KJ?

I love the shale green!! I have cactus green metallic myself and I'm not as crazy about it... in certain lightings it looks pukey.

My Chevy 2500 turbo diesel was eating me alive with fuel and oil consumption making the run to work and back, but she still looked really nice and ran good. My wife and I went out to dinner on a Friday night and I spotted a 2004 Renegade on a dealers lot in the small farm town we went to dinner in. I stopped by on my way home from work the following day and test drove it, It needed front prop shaft CV's in a bad way but drove and ran nice for the millage on it. And we could afford it. I filled out the paper work, handed the keys and title to my truck and drove it home a couple days later after they not only put new CVs on the front prop shaft, but also put two new hub bearings in the front end. Still has lots of miles on it, but she runs really smooth and quiet. Waiting on price from Tom to lift her up and get rid of the saggy/clunking stock suspension.

Had a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica for 9 years...loved it, but got hit in the front by a careless moving truck. Insurance totaled it. I could have fixed it, but thought I might want to get something newer with the money. Found the 2006 Jeep Renegade with 127k miles, 2 years newer and only 10k more than my Pacifica has. I love the Jeep, hadn't had one since I owned a 78 Jeep wagoner back in the Air Force. I'm slowly fixing things up and giving it lots of TLC. I drives and rides great and has less rust than my Pacifica had. So far, new Wheels and shoes, have new calipers, rotors and brakes/lines going in soon. Changing all fluids plugs, etc., putting new spot lights on the front as the others were broken off. New diff pan and trans pan, etc...
