On my O4 Jeep Liberty for my right rear door won't open because the window regulator has failed. I read some time back that you have to get the rear door panel off with the door closed. I've got the screws out of the little inside arm rest door handle and the one from the inside door lock release. However I'm disabled and cannot get a good handle on the door panel to un-clip and remove it. I even have the tool for the door clips because years ago I did upholstery. Any other way to get the door open that you all are aware of. Besides removing the panel first or dynamite.

I have permanent nerve damage in my right hand and arm so I'm having more difficulty then others might have.

Replacing these regulators is a *tough* task, even for those of us who are able bodied. I've had two go out, and it is not a job I look forward to simply because of the finagling of the part iself, and the small space you have to work with.

I'd recommend having it professionally done. Just my advice.
