Sounds like some non-HOAT coolant got in there at some point. I would flush that several times in order to get it cleaned up.
I replaced the radiator in 2014 and only got about 6 quarts of hoat in then. That's about what they got in today. I supplied it to the mechanic just to make sure. Now I have plenty to do several flushes so I'll take your advice Prof.

Had the brake fluid flushed and changed as well as the coolant. Apparently the coolant system is full of gunk; the drain was so clogged they spent some time clearing it out but ultimately got it to drain. They flushed it several times. Any input on how I should proceed? Maybe flush the coolant again soon? 4 months ago, I did notice that my heat was not as furnace hot as it typically is.

Gunk not good & it is hard to clear gunk if it is in the heater core.
Also a new Mopar thermostat would be a good idea if it's in gunked condition.
Question is what kind of gunk? Hopefully none of that rad stop leak crap.
You may have to use the top rad hose bleed to get some air out, & keep an eye on the recovery tank, to be at the full cold line after sitting overnight.
I personally after hearing this would consider a dealer flush, they have a pressurized re-circulating machine that can work wonders to remove all of the bad & install all of the good properly.
When it comes to Jeep..we all should only use the words Hoat coolant, or it can be bad luck!

^^yup, see bold. I did that after buying the HOAT and was going to do it myself but changed my mind and had it done with the machine.

Radiator installed. With all the room you have between the radiator and engine you would think it would have been super easy. It turned out to be easy with a side of “It’ll be fine”

Ran across a SFA Liberty at the gas station this morning.
A 4x4 club was there gasing up.Had to go elsewhere for my gas.:Insane:
Pretty neat seeing one in person.
Did not get any pics cause I don't own cell phone and my camera is packed with my fishing gear.

Had to get towed, was out of town. Was lucky enough to pull into the Cordes Junction area where it was safe. Turns out the the code shows the 0304, miss fire. So I guess it’s going to get a new coil and spark plug.

Took of the wipers and spray painted them because the drivers side had some rust at the hinge pin and was also shedding paint so I was getting glare off of it when the sun was right. Took a pair of vise-grips to get the arms off(rather than a 3-jaw puller or a hammer. Just open the jaws and put one on the edge of the arm and the other on the main nut), and I used the marks on the windshield to put them back on(Thanks LibertyTC).

While I had the hood open and the Rust Reformer out, I sprayed some of the surface rust on the pully's under the hood for a nice uniform black.

Ouch!! There's no room for us to complain now!

Prices have had that large gap between US and the rest of the world for years if not decades... that's how it's been for as long as I've been driving.

But it's all relative, doesn't mean we don't have room to complain since RELATIVE to us, $3+ is a high price.

Yeah for sure, 38 cents a gallon would be nice, but then I'd be living in Venezuela.... And I'd rather pay $10/gallon than live there or a half-barren desert in the middle east where my beliefs and values get me stoned or imprisoned.

Plenty of things are worth paying more for.... My green forests, liberty and stable life that is not in a war zone among them.

For that, I do not feel bad at all.
