My exhaust came in. About to coat it and install it

I'd rather not have hot metal bouncing around in my engine bay or off my windshield, so I'd remove it. Either way...that's gonna be a fun job....

Steigered the front left window regulator, regreased the front end ball joints, and took her geocaching in the texas scrub.

I always cover the motor and then just cut away
Be careful where you install them, they are bigger than a lot of others and have seen cause issues with drowning the motor when raining
Buddy installed a set and had to cover the motor every time it rained
And yes new mopar coils etc

bouncing off your windshield ??? What the heck are you using to cut a hole with ? LOL
I've cut several hoods and never had any issues , KJs, XJs, TJs, etc

I was going to put them roughly where TJKJ2002 had his. He didn’t seem to have issues in that spot.

I replaced (with help from a fellow shipmate) the passenger side cv axle and intermediate shaft. That was the most challenging task thus far with the Liberty that I've done but I learned a lot. Putting the front driveshaft back in was cake. It felt great to do the repair and have everything working solid again.

Considered driving it to look at a Rav4 V6 to replace it with. Decided to just fix the passenger window regulator. This Jeep is starting to really annoy me in more ways than 1.

The problem with the PML washer is that the inside diameter of the washer is wrong.
It can slide up & down on the magnetic drain plug. Next time it is out find a tighter fitting washer.
Mine was weaping too & I just loosened the drain plug and w/ thin exacto blade, carefully moved the washer upward to center it better & tightened it, no weap since.
BTW I like the New lubelocker gasket sticker, have to install it soon,

Did the front brakes, then drove to Duluth to pick up a a boat the girlfriend and I decided to buy, a 1962 Sea King 16ft, with a 65hp merc! Excited to get her water ready! Oh and a seagull decided to say hi....

You should have seen the guy at 84 lumber helping me load 5 12 foot 6x6's! http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/images/smilies/happy175.gif made it home without cracking the windshield but the pressure treatment stained the front passenger seat.

Easily, lifted, folds rub against each other and wear out

Stainless tip was too much for the all black jeep. So I bought some statin black engine paint for that. The rest of the exhaust is bbq paint. The manifold down to muffler section is still black and no rust after one winter






I said if it was too loud I’m tossing it in the trash.
So far it’s on the very mild end. Idle is slightly louder, driving around you get some grunt below 2,000 rpms but after that it’s not anything that will annoy you.
Keep in mind it’s been on for 25 miles so if it breaks in and gets louder I’ll let you guys know

Axle has only been in for 4 years or so, maybe 40k miles.

I wheel the thing. It was bound to break eventually. Timing is just never convenient. The tools to fix it are a 40 minute drive away.
