I am putting a Spartan locker in the rear of my 04, this brings up questions, such as, what is a strong diff cover that is not an arm and a leg and not cheapy thin material?

Second: is there synth oil for the diff or better, what is the best to run?, I am changing all fluids so add a fluid for the transfer case as well.

I really appreciate all your help and knowledge in these areas!

I had gotten one from solid axle wasnt crazy expensive and was very heavy duty in my opinion. For the diff should only use dino gear oil as it lubricates better. T case is atf +4.

I have a spartan and just use Lucas 85w140 gear oil. Ruff Stuff has practically indestructible cover for about $100-125.
