Tonight: Dropped the KL off at the dealer.
1. Squeal/whistle when starting cold (Found a TSB for the idler pulley, guessing that's it)
2. Leaking LBJ on the front passenger side (think it got torn when it got that CV replaced twice)
3. I can feel a pop in the floor when turning the steering wheel right sometimes (very intermittent - might not be easy to replicate)

The clincher is that my bumper to bumper warranty (unbeknownst to me, I thought I had a few more months) expired December 26th. Only have 21k on it though. Any one want to make bets on if they'll cover it or am I SOL? I asked if anything would be covered under the powertrain warranty (I thought at the least the squeal would be since it's engine related) and the service adviser said no, but they'll see what they can do.

I guess I'm going back to 2 days ago.... working on the 04 with the head gasket and smashed window.

Got me a $70 side driver's window and installed it.

Put in a bottle of Rislone liquid head gasket additive. :blah: :emotions34: Not really a fan, but I got nothing to lose. (Looks like somebody got in there with the red/brown Bar's stopleak already.)

It's dandruff...LOL

That's actually nothing compared to the usual this time of year. I wish we had more snow!

Must be global warming. I never heard that when I was there 10 years ago...

We had snow 10 years ago.

Two of the sled-dog races had to use alternate routes already this year due to lack of snow or frozen rivers.

Freed my Ski-Doo from the shop to go get firewood from down the street. Just enough hardpack on the street; not enough to go out in the boonies unless I truck it to a higher altitude where there's more snow, but no firewood.

new extended SS brake hoses are meh, honestly think the pedal feel is a lot softer. New abs sensors and timkens up front and STILL abs/trac/esp lights on

SS brake lines usually make the brakes, (on bikes anyway), feel firmer by taking the "balloon effect" out. Maybe there's still some air in the system.
