Yep, I ran 245/70/17s on my 926s just fine. Didn't touch the pinchweld, but you might want to trim the front air dam a bit so it doesn't grab when you're in reverse.
Thanks again Tom and HJ for the problem solve. The front height leveled out nicely after loosening and retorquing with full weight on the ground.
Now sitting at 21” in the front & 21.25” in the rear.

Cool, that's exactly what I'm at. It's a good height, you get about 2" more than new which gives you good clearance to keep up with even higher KJs off road but yet you don't have the vibration issues that comes from higher ones. I've been just fine running the stock trilink.

lower with the 926/947 springs for one thing by 1/2 inch or so, some like the softer springs but personally I don't . All that we've installed here have always been the 927/948 combo and all have been happy

Hi,
Took your advice order the ome 927/948 combo.
Anything else I need or should do when replacing ?

I replaced everything I removed ex end links bushings isolators strut tops brakes tie rod ends clevis bushing etc...
a good shake down , pry bar test and visual inspection will confirm what else you should consider replacing

At what height are you now ? from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare

Personally, I'd go 245/75/16. I think that size goes with the lift and the downsides are minimal.

If you're at 21" or above in the hub to fender measurement, you'd be ok. Might have to trim the air dam (not sure how an 02 differs from an 05 in that area) but the pinchweld shouldn't rub nor should anything else really.

And here we have installed 245-75-16s with 2.5 inches of lift and have pinch weld and bumper issues.
Depends on what tires you are running as well, brand and what tread pattern
I bend over all pinch welds due to being too close for me on most at 2.5 inches and above .
10 minute job and worth it to make sure no issues.
While 245-75-16s may not make much difference to some, you can really tell the difference in mileage and power between one with out a regear and one with.
I'll continue to provide that advice

That's about the height I'm at, the 245/75s work. But 245/70 won't look that bad really, still better than stock.

More like 18 1/2” rather than about 20 1/2” it looks like..
