Came out to my libby this morning and there's no rear sude window. Hit the switch and just rumbling like it fell off the tracks. How did this happen and how to fix?

Mine did that and the tab that attaches the window to the mechanism had popped out. I just lined it up and popped it back in.

That rumbling is the cable moving around inside the door.
Not detached, but rather broken.
The cable breaks off the bracket that holds the window. What you're hearing is the cable moving in/out so going up and down inside your door. If you put it up the whole way you may even see the cable pop out of the belt molding/window opening where the window comes out of.
You can get a decently cheap well working one from many places.

I got a cheap one of fleabay for one of my windows that has worked without issue for 3 years. But a different one of fleabay, worked just barely 3 months. Do NOT get one from a company named "prime choice"

If I were you I'd go to 1aauto.com and look at the selection. Best ones I've used. Comparable to the Mopar replacement I first bought, just slightly louder. The ones I got through 1aauto were the ones they state as "high quality". Lifetime warranty.

Replacement is simple enough, just check back if you need help. First one took me 40 minutes, could easily get it done in 5-10 now.

Not the mountains.
Either the cable popped out or the bracket that attaches to the window broke. It is a little challenging the first time but, like Gunner stated, it gets easier with each window ya do. I already put an upgraded metal bracket on one of my rear windows. I'll replace the other 3 as they break.

I have replaced all of them over 13 years. I got so use to replacing regulators from my 260Z because the only came with manual and found a universal kit from France which only lasted little over a year. The hardest was BMW and that cut my hand taking the Dang thing out. On the Jeep the hardest part was taking out the screws so you will do fine.
Original Mopar will be under $110.00 but I have used non OEM and they have done just fine at 1/2 the price.

first time mine sheared off the tab the cable jammed itself across the lock mechanism on one of the rear doors and had to pull the interrior door panel off (with the door shut) in order to free it up and get the door open

as long as you use the window regularly , they tend not to break , its when the window gets stuck against gooey or hardened weather stripping that they tend to sheer off

im on that path to just permanently putting my rear windows in the up position, kinda done with their bs. lol

OK I just ordered a new regulator from 1aauto. Free shipping. They've even got a video on how to do it. I shall proceed. I'll keep you posted. Thanks all for the help.

Part came but it was for the wrong side of car. That might have been my mistake in ordering, actually. So I just picked up a regulator and motor over at Advance Auto. It was about 60 dollars more but I didn't want to wait; today's the last clear day before a solid straight week of rain here. Installed it this morning.
