Do you think These new / newer Libertys look undesirable?

I'd like to get a low millage Liberty in 2 yrs, but I just dont like the looks of them!!

is it just me?

so with that said, will these KJs be HOT maybe like an old CJ in a few years??

Keep the old KJ and its Cool? Keep it going! Its A desirable Liberty to own! ??

I personally don't like the KKs
I like the classic Jeep look with the bug eyed headlights
They don't look too bad when they're lifted with beefy tires but I wouldn't buy one if it were me
I'd take a Wrangler or low mileage KJ again before anything else

I have both KJ and KK and definitely prefer the KJ for looks and driveability

To me, the KJ looks like nothing else. The KK looks too much like a lot of other cars.

I bet if Jeep brought back the classic KJ it would be a hit - again.

Even if my rear seats don't fold completely flat, I want to drive something with style!
Good aftermarket support for KJ too.

I like the classic look of the kj too with the round headlights and tire on the back. I think we're on the verge of them becoming sought after now that they are getting older and surely getting less common as time goes on.

I like the KKs outside a lot, the interior isn't much different than the Dodge Nitro.

I love Commanders too.

even though wranglers of any type are a dime a dozen and can be very elitist , i have owned them before and do like them and will probably own one again at some point. But for now i love my KJ and i have gotten more compliments and questions than my cj or lj combined. More unique i and niche i guess. and every bit as capable. Commanders have always interested me.

What I love about these Libertys is that you get more bang for your Bucks!

CJs Ljs Wranglers are too expensive to buy!!

One of these days I'm going to have to find a Commander for sale somewhere so I can take a test drive. It might be the only Jeep which could seriously tempt me to switch.

They drive great.

The 3.7 has worked fine even in the WK up in the Rockies in Colorado. It's not an SRT8 but it still can hold 75/80 fine going uphill.

If you want low range or need to tow, get the 4.7 or Hemi. No low range has worked fine for snow use.

The no low range is what killed the Commander for me. I didn't want the extra premium. The KJ is a good looking truck, mine has needed some TLC and $ but it's getting there. Happy overall with it. Plan to keep it till it dies. I prefer the classic Jeep looks.

The V8 ones all had low range. I wish my WK had it but it was in nice shape and a good deal, plus the KJ is better off road anyway.

If I was buying a Jeep any larger than the KJ, such as a commander, I'd be sure to get the 4.7. After having my Grand Marquis and enjoying v8 torque from that butter smooth 4.6l mod motor.... I miss it. I have 20 more hp in the Jeep, at the same vehicle weight, but the Mercury accelerated and pulled so much harder and with less effort.

That being said, IF I have to replace the KJ, and cannot get another KJ (I really really love this platform/vehicle model), I'd prefer to have a used 4dr Wrangler. I can't afford a brand new one, and likely would have just bought a brand new Acadia or something for my wife... so used would be my go-to.

I like the look of the KK and especially like its extra room, but id take a KJ over it for off roading. I just wish the KJ was a foot longer. It annoys the heck out of me that I cant fold the rear seats down completely. Seriously, what were they thinking! :/

Maybe by then Jeep will have a new model close enough to the Liberty to fit the bill. :)
