Just took some measurements. Shocks and coils have about 2,000 miles on them (rear shocks now about 5,000). I just did some extra top plates and threw in some conduit nuts in the front.

Sitting at about 24.25 in the front and 22.5/22.25 in the back (Will be adding two insulators per side and Y-link extension).

That 24.25 is a little unnerving. Anyone have any words about that? Too high? Fine as long as it settles? I can take it down a bit with the conduit nuts. That wouldn't take me long at all.

You're a bit much on the front, going to get a lot of UCA/ Spring contact for sure , I'd drop it down 3/4 of an inch
You have JBA UCAs right?

Yes sir I do! I took it out for a quick test ride. Over any bumps I could find. Potholes, man holes, speed bumps, speed humps. No contact. Huh. CV angle is pretty sharp but no vibes from them. I think i'm going to get it aligned and feel it out.

If I get some UCA contact, I'll drop it about half an inch (2 conduits per side). Are my only concerns UCA-spring contact and CV joint binding?

As always thank you for replying Tom. Always appreciate a knowledgeable opinion.

Stock setup, never changed. Very little offroad, mostly highway driving. Measured on level ground.
Driver front - 18.0"
Passenger front - 18.0"
Driver rear - 19.0"
Passenger rear - 18 1/2"

Thank you a million for this post. I didn't notice the difference in the back until measuring.

Great information sharing - much appreciated. Question for the experts, I'm planning to lift my 03 Renegade with a 2.5" JBA Silver Package however, I'm wondering how important it is to get the swaybar disconnects and CV axles (cut down)? Please advise. Thank you

No need for either, at 2.5 inches you'll be fine
ran mine over 4 inches for last 80-90,000 miles and no disconnects and plain stock CVs

OME 926/948 (medium all the way around) with Nitrocharger Sport shocks
18" both sides Front with stock sus. 18.5 Rear both sides stock
20.5 front both sides front after, 21 rear. All good!

OK, I went out and checked my 2005 KJ Renegade with 127,000 miles. I just bought this about a month ago so I really know next to nothing about it. The measurements are

DF - 18.5
PF - 18.25
DR - 19.0
PR - 19.0

I am not sure if anything has been added or replaced. So I included a picture of the DF spring. What does the community think? Are these all original? Does anyone see any lift parts? (I don't think I do but I would like a second opinion for someone more knowledgeable). Thanks

I have an ARB bulbar and a winch on the front. I bought this car last year as is, so I don't know what the original measurements were, but it seems its sagged a bit in the front.

Car ?? Oh you mean you bought a Jeep last fall :icon_razz::happy175:
Anyways what lift does it have ? Any ideas or maybe you could post a picture
Right now you are only an inch above new stock height , that bumper needs heavier springs I'd say or its got a ton of miles on it

Car...yea sorry, Aussie here. Down under a car is a car is a car. Ill try to remember the correct term, cheers!

So a little back story, I bought my Jeep 12mths ago. I suspected it had been lifted but I wasn't sure. I bought it from a dealer who really had no idea and never mentioned it. By pure coincidence, yesterday I was flipping through the warranty booklet and lo n behold, on the back page I found some measurements of the lift! I still don't know if it is a 2" lift, 2 and a half" lift or whatever. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can work it out. I also don't know when it was lifted. The Jeep currently has 157000kms (97,000 miles). I bought it at 148000Km.

I measured the height yesterday and it matches up with the heights listed on the warranty page (perhaps a few mm lower here and there), so it doesn't seem to have dropped much. I think I measured 556mm from ground to winch.

Also, you will notice on the booklet, they have listed tires at 265/75/R16. It currently has 245/70/R16 on (came with these tires). Would 265's even fit?

Attached are some pics. The first is the Jeep on the day I bought it. The second is a pic I took yesterday and the last is the heights I found listed in the booklet.

measure from center of wheel hub to fender, stock is 19 inches if it hasnt sagged at all ...about 48 centimeters sorry haha. With a lift and maybe pounding the pinch welds or some center trimming to fit 265/70's. The stuff in the booklet looks like ground clearances to me. Since it has the ARB front bumper im guessing yes it has some sort of lift.....very nice bumper by the way

Yea we're under the metric system down here :D

Im now sure its been lifted, im just not sure by how much. The increases in the booklet of 60mm equates to 2.36 inches. So perhaps it was a 2.5" lift but its since sagged over time. Measuring from the center of wheel to fender gives 20" in the front and 21" in the rear.

I have Polyair bags in the rear suspension, well at least I did until one burst when I came off the road and took out a small tree. With those inflated, the rear would increase in height significantly. Theyre still installed but deflated.

Take some pictures inside the wheel well so we can see what kind of lift is in there
As Tom said, it's only an inch above new stock height in the front and 2" in the rear so it's either been on there a while or doesn't have strong enough springs for that bumper
I would either replace with new HD OME springs or throw in rear iso's and clevis to give you more height before you consider 265-70s
It would look better taller with those tires IMO
I've been wondering about those airbags, haven't read much about them
