So I recently bought this KJ. I knew there was some rust on the Rock Slider, but didn't realize just how much! Has anyone repaired these? I would assume a good weld would work? All are welcome to chime in with suggestions. I am looking for cheap, and can fabricate new ones. If I knew what the original tube was used.

The original ones were mostly for decoration , bent easily and most everyone tossed them years ago. Wouldn't really be worth repairing them

So... I guess maybe I'll look into fabricating my own.

Ok, I had a set just sitting around. Wanting to get rid of. No hardware though. Not interested in shipping them.

Wow, thanks, but I totally get the not wanting to ship. I don't think you can fit them in the "if it fits it ships" box. lol.

I appreciate all the help, folks. I think I will just weld these up for now. Maybe later, start fabricating something else. You guys are great!

Dang.. I'll be in Toledo next week for work... If Londonberry wasn't 3.5hrs away from there, I'd come by your house and get rid of them for you, hardware or not.

Even meeting halfway is kind of a hassle for both parties. I really wanted some rock sliders, even "decorative" ones. I do dirt/mud trails, not rocks, so I'd be set with anything other than bare, exposed rockers.
