So if built before April 12, 2002 it would of been 19.75, after that date 19
If thats right someone must of replaced the suspension
Heck the 03 I bought last fall with 81,000 was over an inch and a half below new stock

Must have this thing has 200k miles. Lol. So with that measurement you think I will be OK with the tires in getting Monday? I don't mind some rubbing lol.

They will rub, how much hard to say depending on brand, type ( AT/ MT etc )
Heck 245-70-16s rub on some when they were brand new
TJKJ ran that size on his 02 when it was brand new but had rubbing right from the get go, lower it 1/2-3/4 inch or more and yes is the answer

Glad to know at least you like them and they work for you, just be careful
Straight on you maybe ok until you hit a bump, or hit a rut while turning etc.
LCG is good to a point, BUT then you still need better springs to control the ride and handling.
My 04 with over 4 inches of lift will flat blow a stock KJ away on a good twisty road

That close up of Clarence is with the wheel turned to get it as close to the punch weld as I could. And as far as twisties go, that's what I have my other toy for this is just a beach toy. But if you want to go play on the twisties I will bring this instead.

Every now and again I think I'd like to have one of those for fun, but then I borrow my buddies for a day and have to crawl out of it :icon_lol:
BUT I start reading on Flyin' Miata's site and their 430-hp General Motors LS3 V8 under the hood and my thoughts change again :ROFLJest:

Sweet looking Jeeps! I'm a newbie to this so I have some questions, what years are those KJ's?

when you stated "did some magic on it", did you lift the Silver KJ?
What are the lifts on each of those?

and do they both have the ARB front bumper?

thanks!

Artimus Johns silver one is an 03 and we installed if I rememebr right a 3.5 inch or so is where it ended up at with 245-75-16s. Yes it has an ARB, had it on mine for years and now he has it . Mine is an 04 that I bought new, has over 220,000 miles, was my DD until a few months ago when I picked up a low mileage 03 to build. Mine has the JBA coilovers set a little above 4 inches .
I also installed the JBA coilovers on my 03 but at 2.5 inches, shown nose to nose both with worn out 265-75-16s for photographic purposes only LOL
